How do I enable my location to see local deals?

When you navigate to the Local Deals tab in your PerkSpot app, you will first be asked for permission to allow the app to access your location. 

For iPhone users:

If you're using an iPhone, you will see the below notification when you first tap on Local Deals:

From this window, you can select if and how often you would like the PerkSpot app to access your phone's location.

You can also allow access to your device's location from your phone's settings. To do this, take the following steps:

1. Navigate to your phone's Settings page.
2. Select the PerkSpot app.
3. Tap "Location" to choose if and when you would like to allow location access.
4. If you would like, you can also grant the app permission to use your specific location so that you can more easily view deals closer to where you are currently located.

For Android users:

If you're using an Android device, you will see the below notification when you first tap on Local Deals:

From this window, you can select if and how often you would like the PerkSpot app to access your phone's location.

You can also allow access to your device's location from your phone's settings. To do this, take the following steps:

1. Navigate to your phone's Settings page.
2. Select "Location."
3. Select "App permissions."
4. Scroll down until you locate the PerkSpot app. Then select it.
5. Update the location access for the PerkSpot app.
