Auto Buying Program
You can receive discounted pricing on vehicles through the Auto Buying Program. This program is provided by the merchant we use in-house, TrueCar. You can receive up to $3,000 off your MSRP for new and used vehicles. To view this offer within your PerkSpot account, Hover over the "Categories" button towards the top of the page in your account and then select "Auto Buying."
To redeem this offer, you'll need to first select if you would like to purchase a new or used vehicle, your zip code, and the make of the vehicle you would like. You'll click either "Shop New Cars" or "Shop Used Cars" and you will be taken to the TrueCar website specifically for PerkSpot users.
Once you're on the TrueCar site, you'll select the specific vehicle you are interested in purchasing. You will then be prompted to register for the Auto Buying Program and select the dealership where your desired vehicle is available. Once you select the dealership, the retail market price, as well as your discounted price, will be displayed. Based off your selection, you will see a generated code (also known as your discount certificate) to present to the dealership. This will lock in your savings.
You can print the certificate or send this to your phone via text message.

Buyer's Bonus
If you report the purchase of your new or used car from a TrueCar Certified Dealer within 45 days, you can receive some additional perks that may be worth more than $2,000. After you buy your vehicle from a Certified Dealer, you'll return to the TrueCar site where you previously received your certificate within 45 days and click "Report Purchase." From there, enter your email to get started. You'll want to have your VIN, dealership details, and personal information handy.
The perks you may be eligible to receive include auto repair expense reimbursement, auto deductible reimbursement, and the ability to speak to a certified mechanic for an expert opinion on any questions you may have.
