If you try to complete the checkout process, but are notified that you need to verify your account, this means that when you initially accessed your PerkSpot account, you were able to do so without entering a password. This can happen if you accessed your account through a promotional email you received from PerkSpot or if you accessed your account directly through your company's benefits portal.
In order to purchase your gift card, you will first need to set a password and sign in with that password.
You should automatically receive an email containing a link to verify your account. However, if you don't receive that email or have any issues with the link, don't worry! You can still verify your account another way! To do this, you'll want to first log out of your PerkSpot account, which you can do by clicking the avatar symbol in the upper right corner of the page and then selecting "Logout."
After you're logged out, you'll be taken to the main sign in page. Click the "Forgot Password" link and enter your email address when prompted. You'll receive an email that will allow you to set your password. Once you've done so, log back into your account using your email address and the password you set. You should then be able to complete your purchase.
